Parent-Infant Counseling

Moms and dads, you're not alone - Parenting comes with doubts, questions, and sometimes complex challenges that require help.

  • Is my baby overly fussy?
  • Should feeding be such a struggle?
  • Is my baby overly sensitive?
  • My baby is having trouble sleeping.
  • My baby doesn't look at me, is that normal?
  • Why is my baby so upset when I leave?

Our infant mental health therapists can help you address the more complex issues that come up when raising your baby and help you and your baby develop a healthy attachment.

In some cases, infants experience trauma or loss that affects their emotional state. This may be the result of parent depression or a sibling with special needs, or the effects of homelessness or addiction on a child. We work with parents and other caregivers to recognize babies in need and to provide counseling to their families.

What we offer

Wellspring Family Services provides parent-infant psychotherapy to address relationship issues at an early stage (birth to three years) to help avoid greater problems as the child grows. These counseling sessions look at the social and emotional health of the baby and the primary caregiver and their relationship with each other.

Our licensed therapists work with you in individual sessions to reflect on your parenting style and teach healthy relationship skills which you can use with your baby to form a stronger attachment.

We accept insurance plans and also offer have reduced-fee services based on income.
