Supportive Housing
If you're homeless it's not easy to find a stable place to live. There are all kinds of barriers to getting off the street: first month's rent and move-in costs, poor credit and eviction history, identification requirements, a background check, and just finding an affordable apartment. Where do you begin?
Wellspring Family Services can help with case management and housing services for homeless families, couples, and individuals living in King County. Our services include an assessment of your needs, helping you overcome barriers to housing eligibility, and advocacy with housing providers. We may provide financial assistance for housing on a limited basis within your overall plan. Once you have a home, we provide case management services to help you maintain your housing.
We help with:
- Reducing the barriers to housing
- Interim housing and shelter
- Transitional housing with a link to permanent, long-term housing
- Access to support services including counseling, parenting support, medical care, childcare, employment, education, and training opportunities.
