Assistant Teacher/Advocate - Cornerstone Classroom

Our Early Learning Center's Cornerstone Classroom is seeking an experienced preschool teacher to work with children ages three to five years who are facing behavioral challenges.

The Cornerstone classroom specializes in working with children who have been disenrolled from community child care programs due to behavioral issues. The program offers a specialized curriculum and child care with intensive therapeutic intervention using the Cornerstone Reflective Network method. The program utilizes specially trained therapists as well as classroom teachers who receive training in the Reflective Network method (we provide the training).

We offer a stable and safe learning environment that helps children develop social and emotional skills, self-esteem, independence, conflict resolution, and school readiness. We have one classroom currently, with a capacity of 7 children. Another classroom will open in the near future.

This position will work with children ages 3 to 5. Previous experience teaching this age group is required.
