Agency Highlights
- A period of decentralization: by 1966 the agency has 12 branch offices, including service in the Eastside suburbs. Counseling remains the primary focus but social advocacy becomes part of the mission also.
- 1961 — The Homemaker Service is established as an agency program with funding from Boeing, Junior League, Paccar and others.
- 1962 — The agency changes its name to Family Counseling Service.
