Centralized financial support from The Community Fund helps the agency focus on "constructive service for families" as well as giving direct relief aid.
The agency provides case management for other organizations such as Theodora House (run by Volunteers of America) for homeless mothers and children. The agency grows to five offices throughout Seattle.
1926 — The first master-degree level social worker is hired as a "mental hygiene expert."
1926 — The agency hires Jewish social workers to assist the growing Jewish immigrant community.
1928 — The agency legal-aid service spins off as an independent organization under guidance of the Seattle Bar Association.
